Following a careful process to recruit and select trustees for the Moose Cree First Nation Trust, Chief & Council are pleased to announce the appointment of four trustees.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Butterfly, Director of Facilities, who peacefully departed from this world in the early morning hours of February 24, 2024.
ISN Maskwa has been hired by Moose Cree First Nation in conjunction with the Drug Task Force Coordinator Jeremy Hookimaw to assist and aide with the State of Emergency as it relates to the drug problem in Moose Factory.
The next Regular Membership Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 at the TCJMC Community Hall in Moose Factory, beginning with dinner at 6 pm.
Security measures have been put in place to observe and inspect individuals entering the community. You may be subject to a search if you choose to enter the community - if any illegal substances or prohibited weapons are found, the police will be notified immediately.
As part of our ongoing efforts to address the drugs crisis in Moose Factory, the Moose Cree First Nation Chief & Council signed a Band Council Resolution declaring a State of Emergency regarding this serious drug problem.
All community members are invited to join our community walk on Sunday, November 26th to raise awareness of the drug issues affecting our community. Begins at the community hall and ends back at the hall followed by lunch.
