Job Location: Moose Factory, ON

 

Position Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Director of Administration and Communications the incumbent shall be responsible for and administer all functions involving: Indian Registration as it relates to birth registrations, marriages, adoptions, deaths, Certificate of Indian Status cards and band membership and transfer requests; assisting with estates; coordinating by-elections and ratification voting; and assisting with Treaty Annuity Payments.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Successful completion of grade 12 and/or college level courses.
  2. Work experience with the Indian Registry System is an asset.
  3. Work experience with First Nation Elections and Ratification Voting process
  4. Must have supervisory skills and experience.
  5. Self-motivated and ability to work under minimum supervision.
  6. Exceptional interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
  7. Proven ability to work with highly sensitive documents and confidential information.
  8. Good working knowledge of computer applications Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet.
  9. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  10. Ability to communicate in the Cree language is an asset.
  11. A valid “G” driver’s license is an asset.
  12. Must provide a recent CPIC or proof of application.
  13. Copy of certificates/diplomas must be submitted with resume.

 

Salary: $57,525.00 – $72,501.00

 

Duration: Permanent with 3 months probation
